APNA can undertake construction Project Management for individual projects whereby we can assist Clients, identifying and managing the execution of their construction related activities.

APNA can facilitate the briefing, design, procurement, implementation and hand-over of projects through an understanding and experience of the processes involved, knowledge of Client’s project objectives, procurement of design teams, communication with project teams and agreement of appropriate planning and control techniques.

We appreciate the need to guide many Clients who are not familiar with the construction process through its working methods and terminology and to make them aware of the potential risks involved in the various stages of the build process.

Project Monitoring provides informed insight and representation in a contract situation where Clients may otherwise have no direct control or input.

APNA recognises that every development project is unique and draws upon in-house expertise to provide a tailored service so that informed decisions can be taken.

Accordingly, APNA provides an overview of your development including procurement, appointments, statutory consents, and project appraisals with clear, concise, and relevant reporting of all the issues.

Initial Monitoring Reports will include taking Client’s instructions, site inspections, review of all required information, liaising with funders, and reporting thereon.

Monthly Reports will review actual progress against targets, assess payments against approved budgets and costs to completion, highlighting relevant issues.

Final Completion Reports will include analysis of costs against budgets, review of statutory paperwork and contract issues.

APNA work with private and public contracting authorities providing contractual advice and commercial solutions to prevent the adverse effects of project risks.

In circumstances where projects go wrong we can provide trouble-shooting interventions to resolve the problem or dispute.

We can also advise and represent Clients in matters that are referred to conciliation, mediation and arbitration processes.

APNA have a dedicated team who have significant experience working with Clients who have suffered an insolvency or termination event during their project works.

By involving us at the earliest opportunity we can offer prompt project recovery solutions through pro-active communication with the Bondsman, assessment of works-in-progress, procurement advice, retendering/negotiation of completion contract, guiding projects to completion and final account settlements with Receiver/Liquidator and Bondsman as necessary.

The key to a successful outcome is senior hands-on involvement through the project.

APNA have been appointed to provide expert witness evidence on a significant number of projects in relation to professional indemnity claims, financial over-runs, defects, delay and disruption claims, project management and quantum issues.

In each case we will provide independent impartial and unbiased Reports based on our experience knowledge and expertise and always stating the main facts and assumptions upon which we have based same.

APNA can provide a range of procurement process administration services, from project inception to completion, using a variety of model forms, bespoke documents and contract types available, which can be tailored to our Clients’ requirements.

APNA have expertise including the management and administration of various procurement procedures including single stage, two stage, and negotiated on behalf of our Contracting Authority Clients for works, contracts, and service requirements.

APNA offer Process Auditing Services to Authorities awarded or in receipt of grant funding in order to ensure and check all regulations and requirements are complied with, and that accuracy of costs, reliability of grant audit systems, and that compliance with terms and conditions is attained.
